Hey, my name is Herve Rwigema. I am a software engineer and student at ALU. My favorite kind of projects are personal software. I like to build small, opinionated tools that solve a niche problem and share them openly.

I am really hate redundant, slow, or unpolished software. I spend most of my days thinking about how to make things faster, cleaner, and more intentional.

The majority of my code is written by AI, but I have recently started to appreciate the competence to write software without outsourcing the skill to AI. Currently, I have a strong interest in developer tooling like CLI tools, SDKs, and libraries. I have use way too many tools and AI models :)

My other interests include: Formula 1, and touching grass.

My currently favorite band is Linkin Park.
